VCF Academy in South Korea win FA Cup League tournament
The VCF Academy South Korea participated in its first tournament last weekend, playing in the FA Cup League competition that brought together other local clubs in the city of Busan.

It was an excellent start to their activity, as the Under-12s team won the trophy in their category with a perfect record, capped by a 7-2 victory over Jungle FC in the final. In addition, Kim Hoo-Yung was named Player of the Tournament and Kim Ji-Ho was the FA Cup League's Top Scorer.

In addition to the Under-12s team, the Under-10s and Under-8s sides from the VCF Academy also took part, achieving fourth and third place, respectively, in their age groups.

Busan, the second largest city in South Korea, with a population of around 3.5 million people, is one of the latest Asian cities to boast a VCF Academy.
The FA Cup League allowed the young players to have fun as a team and get back to enjoying football and games against other clubs, after the interruption to the year caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
